Featured Artist: Malakai Schuhart
Malakai Schuhart has lived in Springfield MO his whole life and loves living in the Midwest. He has a great deal of knowledge about specific subjects such as dinosaurs and animals of any sort. He enjoys video games and tinkering with and repairing Nerf guns. He comes from a very large family of 5 brothers and sisters and his mother. He also has two dogs and one cat.
Through the years, he has grown in his artistic skills as well as socially. Art is one of Malakai’s great passions.He has used a large variety of different creative mediums. He is looking forward to working with airbrushing and 3D Printing in the near future. He sells his art on Facebook through his group, “Malakai’s Art Station”!

Featured Artist: Jordyn Potter
Jordyn Potter recently moved to Springfield from a small town in Arkansas. Although it was a bit challenging, she and her family are now fully moved in and settled into their new home. Jordyn enjoys writing in addition to drawing. She’s currently working on making one of her stories into a show. Jordyn has two dogs- a pit-bull mix, and an Australian Aussie. Jordyn works in pencil along with charcoal and prefers focusing mainly on character design instead of background.

Featured Artist: Miriam Murphree
Miriam Murphree has lived in Springfield MO her entire life. She lives with her husband Wesley and her cat Pippa. Miriam has been doing art independently for a many years. Her hobbies include web design, game design, writing music, crochet, and painting. Miriam shared, “Being creative gives me relief from my disabilities. I hope that my art reaches people and that they can find comfort by relating to my specific themes. All of my art work is about trauma recovering. I have complex PTSD and the art work reflects the things that have happened to me and how I have moved forward from it.”
