Join us for this year’s Silver Strands Celebration honoring Kyle John, M.D., in recognition of his passion for inclusion of people with developmental disabilities. The celebration will take place on Friday, April 12, 2024, at Hickory Hills Country Club. Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres at 6:00 p.m.; dinner at 7:00 p.m.
Kyle John, M.D., joined the Arc of the Ozarks as the medical director for the new Autism and Neurodevelopmental Disorders Clinic in April 2023. He is a distinguished psychiatrist who has dedicated his career to helping children and adolescents with developmental disabilities and mental health issues. During his 30-year career, Dr. John has made a positive impact on the lives of countless children and families by providing expert and compassionate care. Through his education, training, talent and influence, Dr. John has been an advocate for full inclusion, an inspiration to others, and a provider of selfless, respectful services. Dr. John and his wife, Melissa Bondy, are the proud parents of two adult sons, Brennan and Garrett.
Silver Strands Celebration honors citizens who have made a positive impact in our community for people with developmental disabilities. Proceeds from the Silver Strands Celebration benefit Friends of Abilities First, a 501(c)(3) organization that helps people achieve their dreams by providing opportunities for inclusion where people live, learn, work and play.
